Wondering About Who We Are
Yes there are 4 of us.... Let me explain...
We’re two sisters with the same dad—blood, you know… and blood runs thick.
We didn’t grow up together. In fact, we didn’t even know each other until our late 20s and early 30s. After nearly 20 years apart, we finally found each other (thank you, Ancestry.com). What started as curiosity quickly turned into something incredible.
From the moment we connected, it was wild to see just how much we had in common. Our shared love of reading and writing brought us even closer, and before long we realized we hadn’t just found a sister—we had found a best friend.
Porcupine is the loving older sister: organized, detail-oriented, and always striving for perfection.
TwinkleButt is the chaotic younger sister: creative, energetic, and thriving in beautiful overload.
Together, we created Faraway Sister Haven—a space that reflects both of us. A place built on stories, sisterhood, and the magic that books bring into our lives.
Alongside us are two wonderful sisters who either adopted us or were adopted by us (because family isn’t always about blood). They each bring their own unique spark to our little circle.
Rain Skye is a reader and crafter.

HisPorcupine- The Business Sis
I’m the kind of reader who believes books are tiny universes hiding between two covers. Open one, and suddenly it’s 2 a.m., the house is quiet, and I’m still whispering “just one more chapter.”
My shelves are less of a collection and more of a growing ecosystem. Fantasy, romance, strange little gems, and stories that leave emotional footprints all live here. I read with curiosity and a sense of adventure, usually diving in blind because I think stories deserve to unfold like magic rather than autopsies.
My reviews are spoiler-free and honest. Instead of dissecting every twist, I try to capture the feeling of the journey: the moments that made my heart squeeze, the characters that lingered in my mind, and the worlds that tempted me to stay a little longer.

An avid reader and unapologetic book hoarder, I’ve built a library big enough to prove my commitment—and my questionable self-control. I read boldly and review bravely—usually going in blind and refusing to let spoilers steal the magic. I believe stories deserve to be experienced, not dissected beforehand, so my reviews keep the mystery intact while giving just enough sass and insight to tempt you in.
